Hi Jamieson,
I worked with you on the purchase of the artificial turf last August, and after a long winter here, we are finally finished with the Roof project. We have decided to use it seasonally, after observing the way the snow cleared from my roof this winter. . .which is quite important. . .lots of roofs caved in this winter from heavy snow loads in our area. So, the turf is attached to the outer edge metal trim with 3″ velcro strips attached with a heat gun to adhere well. It can be detached in the late fall and rolled up for the snowy months, then reattached in Spring. By over lapping the turf, it prevents the edge from catching the wind gusts off the lake, which can be up to 50 mph. I love the way the color flows so naturally with the trees and lawn around it. Enjoy the photos that are attached. Thank you so much for all your help in making this a successful project.
I may be in touch soon to install some product in Southern California around a swimming pool in an area going on water restrictions, and unreliable yard maintenance. It is rental property and the tenants are moving, so it is an opportunity to clean it up now.
Thank You! Laurie
